Description
In 2022, the ACE & CREATIVITY blog of the University of Liverpool, Department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology started with the aim of encouraging – and giving the chance to – undergraduates, postgraduate, and early career researchers to express their creativity and engage with Antiquity. The blog has been published monthly on the ACE department website since April 2022, and the team is now happy to celebrate its first birthday. In order to acknowledge this important milestone, the ACE & CREATIVITY team has organised this online conference on October 7th-8th, 2023. We include papers and workshops that discuss Antiquity-related creative projects, including innovative approaches to archaeological-historical research, and plans for public engagement and accessibility, showcasing how creativity can open Classical studies to the wider audience. The ACE & CREATIVITY Conference is foremost a platform to present all types of creative engagement, such as creative writing, theatre, visual arts and music, showcasing an interdisciplinary approach to artmaking and research-led practice. We encourage you to freely explore your artistry and share your research and passion with a broad audience.Period | 8 Oct 2023 |
