Description

As part of Bristol Data Week, the newly formed Bristol Digital Game Lab is running an introductory seminar.

The Bristol Digital Game Lab will bring together researchers and practitioners from a radically diverse range of perspectives, including translation and accessibility, history, comparative literature, law, computer science, AI, game design, and beyond. The aim is to chart new possibilities for collaboration across disciplines with digital games as a shared object of study.

Find out more about our vision, current research, and how to get involved with the Lab. The seminar will cover:

Using historical data to reconstruct the past virtually
Analysing audience data and the impact of games
Intellectual property challenges for videogame preservation
Using audience feedback to build accessible games
Future events and initiatives run by the Lab
We will also be opening the floor to questions.

This is the first of two sessions coordinated by the Bristol Digital Game Lab during Bristol Data Week.
