Description

Growing up in poverty impacts childrens’ health, educational attainment and wellbeing. It also has sacarring effects: children who grow up in poverty are more likely to be poor adults, to have poor health and to be in precarious employment. Spain has one of the highest child poverty rates in Europe, with almost one in three children living in poverty according to Eurostat. The Spanish government has made it a priority to reduce child poverty. This project aims to cooperation between Bristol Poverty Institute, the School for Policy Studies and the Child Poverty Office.
