Collaborative life support training project with the University of Birmingham
• I am the Course Director of the scheme at the University of Bristol
• Delivers European Resuscitation Council (ERC) BLS Provider & Instructor courses
• Near peer led scheme training students to teach, examine and manage the
training of their peers in life saving skills using a community of practice model
• Second largest scheme in UK: trained >700 students since established in 2017• I sit on the national RMD collaborative group which supports new HEIs to set up the scheme• Lead academic for the new RMD UK research group (launching October 2021)
