Extended Adaptivity in Correlation-based PIV image processing
The presentation is concerned with introducing adaptivity in PIV image processing. The talkshowed the importance of having variable correlation window sizes and locations when analysing PIV images. Adaptivity criteria based on general PIV applications are proposed as well as their implementation. To show the effectiveness of several variations in adaptive approaches several applications to PIV experiments are presented.
