First International Symposium of the Nineteenth Century Hispanists Network

Description

With Geraldine Lawless (Sheffield) and Gregorio Alonso (Leeds), I formed the international network for Hispanists working on the nineteenth century, in response to the burgeoning size of the AHGBI panels (2006-2010) and the growing international interest in them. This was the first symposium to be held. Own paper: 'The Universal in Culture: Some Suggestions'
