Description

The Comparative Urban Law Conference gathered scholars at Fordham’s London campus for a conversation about the field of urban law from an international, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspective. Interrogating the intersection of law and urbanism in the twenty-first century raises pressing questions about the structure of local authority and autonomy and the role of law in urban policy areas such as environmental sustainability, land use, housing, consumer protection, public health, and criminal justice.
