A public event to bring together initiatives that promote healthier and more just food environments across Ghana and Sweden. One of the topics in this upcoming webinar is Political economy of food consumption — a methodological toolkit and visual exploration of food environments in Ghanaian schools, presented by Paul Nkegbe (UDS), Fiorella Picchioni (University of Bristol) and Christopher J. Turner (University of Greenwich) . The session highlights how policy, power, and everyday realities shape food environments.

The webinar brings together leading researchers and changemakers from Ghana, Sweden, and England, including Christopher Turner, Fiorella Picchioni, Aimée Wallin (Ghana Food Movement), Olga Grönvall Lund (Reformaten), and Jecinta Atieno Okumu (The Guild-ARUA Cluster of Research Excellence on Food Environment Actions for the Promotion of Health – FE4H CoRE), for a cross-continental conversation on shared challenges and opportunities for change.
