Description
This is the second part of a 5 day visit to the US where I will travel to Johns Hopkins Medical School following invitation to be a contributor on a second National Institute of Mental Health funded RO1 application, led by Dr Sevil Yasar, an Assistant Professor in their Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. We intend to undertake 2 days of intensive meetings to develop a project plan and draft outline that is intended to undertake a new clinical trial of a repurposed blood pressure drug in Alzheimer's disease and where our ongoing RADAR trial and lessons learned will be important in the design of the new study. While I am there i will also give an invited Divisional Seminar of our research to open dialogue with the potential of additional collaborations to follow.
