Marie Curie Intra-European Research Fellowship - BIoGeochemistry in a high CO2 World (BIGCOW): Lessons from the Ocean Anoxic Events

Activity: Other activity typesFellowship awarded competitively

Description

Developed the biogeochemical cycles of the Oceanic Anoxic Events of the Cretaceous in the Earth system model GENIE. In particular I analysed the interactions of the nutrient cycles (P, N), climate and the cycling of C, O2 and S. In doing so, I evaluated the sensitivity of marine biogeochemistry to warming, increased stratification and decreased dissolved oxygen concentration. Host: Prof. Andy Ridgwell
