Description

Vast amounts of effort are put into producing energy efficient hardware, yet the greatest efficiency gains come from software that both minimises resource usage and is sympathetic to the CPU's energy saving capabilities. We explore the challenges of modelling and optimising software energy consumption in a hardware multi-threaded architecture.
