Description

This is the first leg of a 5 day tour to the USA in which the first part is a 3 day visit to Oakland University, Michigan following invitation to be a contributor on a National Institute of Mental Health funded RO1 application, led by Dr Stewart Graham, formerly of Queens University of Belfast, and now Director of one of the most well resourced Metabolomics Laboratories in the world. We intend to undertake 3 days of intensive meetings to develop the project outline that is intended to undertake a study of the metabolomic profile of the human ageing brain and make a start on the grant writing toward a submission in early September.
While I am there i will also give a invited Divisional Seminar of our research to open dialogue with the potential of additional collaborations to follow.
