    The purpose of this workshop is to discuss issues related to the working, employment, and living conditions of immigrants hired under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Catherine Connelly analyzes the experiences of these workers from the perspective of employers and resource management, as developed in her 2023 book, Enduring Work. Co-director of the documentary Terre Promise, Blandine Émilien takes a sociological approach to studying their experiences and situating them in the Quebec context. Facilitated by Patrice Jalette, the workshop will be complemented by two people representing unions and/or migrant worker support organizations.
