Description

The workshop was funded by the Knowledge and Organizational Learning Group of the School of Management at Royal Holloway University. It involved the participation of patients and healthcare professionals that have had experience using remote monitoring and diagnostic technology. The workshop discussion focused on 1) the impact of telehealth on patients’ wellbeing; 2) the effects of remote monitoring on diagnosis, treatment and care decisions. The workshop offered the opportunity to identify ways in which the impact of remote monitoring and diagnostic technology can be better understood. The workshop output was summarized into a report and will be used to identify unexplored issues and questions for the development of a research grant proposal that can extend our knowledge in this area.
