This multimedia exhibition (30th May - 4th June 2009) -- entitled 'Portraits of (In)security' -- bridges the divides between art, academia and community, with works that explicitly reflect on the diverse political relationships between identity and notions of (in)security, bringing together new and established artists, academics and students. The opening talk will be delivered by Dr Bradley Stephens (University of Bristol) on the connections between art and politics in modern cultural history.
