Description

The terms sex and gender are often used interchangeably. This interactive presentation explored the differences between sex and gender and how these are expressed in anatomy. Both sex and gender have classically been described in binary terms, with people classified as either male or female. This presentation questions the truth in this and asked does this stance represent the reality for all individuals and how do we make space for those outside the binary?
