BGER ACTLab collaborations with TUAT and E-Defense (UK)
Members of the ACTLab group (Prof Stoten, Dr Enokida and Mr Hatano) have explored potential collaborations with Professor Yasutaka Tagawa (Tokyo University of A&T (TUAT) and Dr Kouichi Kajiwara (Director of E-Defense). E-Defense, Miki-shi, Hyougo-ken; is the largest shaking table facility in the world. From the list of 14 projects 5 have been selected which will be further considered with the possibility of funding. Additionally this collaboration has led to Mr Keisuke Shimono working in the ACTLab from June-September 2013, in support of his PhD studies at TUAT. Professor Tagawa will also briefly visit us during this time.
