A comparison of a gamified and standard stop signal task using smokers and non-smokers



Traditional computerised cognitive tests can be time consuming and unengaging. New versions of these tasks are being developed that incorporate game-like elements to provide a more engaging experience. This study compared a traditional and a "gamified" stop-signal task in groups of smokers and non-smokers.
