A systematic review of sample size and power in leading neuroscience journals

In this meta-study we investigated the prevalence of adequate sample sizes and power calculations in the neuroscience literature. We were interested in whether the introduction of an editorial checklist in Nature Neuroscience increased sample sizes reported and the use of formal power calculations to determine the sample size a priori.
