Dataset

Description

This data supports the findings of “Evaluation of a credit-bearing online administered happiness course on undergraduates’ mental well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic”. We evaluated change in well-being in first year university students (N = 166) taking an online “Science of Happiness” course compared to a wait-list comparison group (N = 198). We found that the course had a beneficial effect on well-being. Specifically, mental well-being in those taking the course was maintained, compared to the waiting-list control who showed a significant decline in well-being and increase in anxiety over time.
