This supplementary data and code set accompanies the manuscript "Adaptive collective behaviour reduces the impact of limited visual information from water turbidity" by Christos C. Ioannou, James Cordery & Sean A. Rands (School of Biological Sciences, University of Bristol, United Kingdom). Four files are presented: SupData.csv — a comma-delimited text file containing the experimental data collected in the fish experiments. netlogo_turbidity_shoaling_model.nlogo — an annotated NetLogo model file, detailing the code used for generating the shoaling models used in the manuscript. This version was created in NetLogo 6.4.0 (https://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/6.4.0/). modelling_data.csv — a comma-delimited text file containing the modelling data used described in the manuscript. SupRcode.R — a plain-text R code file, containing code used for analysing the data (and generating the manuscript figures) contained in SupData.csv and modelling_data.csv.
