Description
The macros provided are designed to analyse the progression of apoptosis.
"nuclei analysis_NAF calculation_single stack" focuses on providing nuclei area measurements and calculating the nuclear area factor (NAF). This is to be performed on single stack images.
"Caspase 9_NAF activity analysis", in addition to calculating the NAF, caspase 9 activity is also quantified. This macro is to be performed on Z-stack images.
These macros were designed and tested upon Chinese hamster ovary (CHO)-K1 cells undergoing apoptosis via exposure to 1 µM of staurosporine.
Both macros are compatible with ImageJ.
