Nucleation increases the visual appeal of lager but does not alter overall likeability or drinking rate (study 1)

Description

This human laboratory experimental study investigated whether nucleation texture in drinking glasses affects the likeability of an alcoholic beverage. Participants (n = 116) were asked to drink standard strength lager from two 10 fl oz of standard strength lagers from a non-nucleated and nucleated glass and fill out a lager drinking experience questionnaire after each. The likeability of the alcoholic beverage and volume consumed of each beverage were recorded.
