The role of state and trait anxiety in the processing of facial expressions of emotions

Dataset

Description

This was an experimental study using the 7.5% carbon dioxide model of anxiety induction. Our primary aim was to examine whether we could replicate the main effect of state anxiety on facial emotion processing observed in the previous studies from our group (Attwood et al., 2017). Our secondary aim was to extend these findings by investigating the association of trait anxiety with facial emotion processing, and whether it moderates any effects of state anxiety.
