Organization profile

The Bristol Cyber Security Group is part of the Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR) at Bristol. The group's research focuses on three over-arching but interlinked strands: security of cyber-physical infrastructures, software security and human behaviours.

The group takes an experimental ethos to its research, studying security problems and solutions in realistic lab-based testbeds as well as through in-the-wild research in communities and collaborators in industry and government organisations.

The group's experimental infrastructures include state-of-the-art cyber security testbeds on industrial control systems, Internet of Things as well as a fabrication lab to develop novel devices and a Security Event and Information Management System.
