Organisation profile

Infection and Immunity research in the School is closely linked with Bristol One Health through the University's Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research while the group’s farm animal research emphasises the importance of the national Food Security agenda within the university through the Cabot Institute. The group brings together a number of research strengths ranging from the fundamental to the more applied research with potential for impact and all collectively benefit from being part of a university-wide research theme. The research areas contributing to this synergy include; immunology, microbiology, mathematical modelling, companion animal infectious diseases and veterinary parasitology
