We are one of the largest joint replacement centres in the UK. Headed by Professor Ashley Blom, our orthopaedic research team includes experts in orthopaedic surgery, chronic pain, physiotherapy, epidemiology, statistics, health economics, psychology, systematic review, qualitative research methodology, and outcome measurement.
Our clinical research facilities are set alongside a suite of five modern laboratories which support routine mammalian cell culture, biochemistry, molecular biology and stromal cell work to facilitate translational research.
