Research interests

We are a synthetic organic chemistry group whose research interests focus on using visible light as a sustainable energy source to promote chemical reactions. We explore a range of different approaches for photochemical activation of organic molecules, including photoredox catalysis, ligand-to-metal charge transfer catalysis, and photoexcitation of electron donor–acceptor complexes. Our goal is to exploit these techniques to develop new methodologies that allow us to efficiently construct complex molecules.
