Personal profile
Research interests
I joined the University of Bristol in January 2023 as a Research Associate on the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project “Climate futures science for adaptation” which is led by Dr Rachel James. My research is exploring how to improve climate services across Southern Africa. Specifically, the research focuses on long-term future climate information for national and regional climate adaptation planners in Southern Africa. I will be testing the best ways to communicate uncertain climate futures with decision makers. I take a demand-driven approach to climate services, using co-production and co-design to ensure climate services are usable and understandable.
My broad research interests are in sustainable development with a focus on climate change, climate change adaptation and food security. I am an interdisciplinary, solution-oriented researcher with experience in adopting methodologies and theories from a variety of disciplines. I am therefore open to hearing from anyone who is interested in the project and potential collaborators.
