My research background stretches from computer science to mathematical physics. Early work in the computer sciences focused on the application of metaheuristic optimisation algorithms to various industry problems. This subsequently developed into research into the uses of multi-objective optimisation, with applications in data mining and machine learning in particular. More recent research involved the application of multi-objective optimisation to the discovery of quantum circuits.
My interests in mathematical physics have focused on the topics of holographic chaos and complexity in AdS/CFT, resulting in my more recent PhD and a number of publications.
