Research interests

I am a PhD student investigating the connections between grassroots political education and practice in post-capitalism. I'm interested in how approaches to both practice and theory affect class participation. My research comprises ethnographic case studies of contemporary UK-based post-capitalist organisations/movements alongside action research.

Previously, I was Research Associate on the AHRC-funded UK Feature Docs project, a study of the UK documentary film industry and completed my MA in Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths. My MA thesis explored how arts organisations use tactics of the Commons to resist the neo-liberalisation of the sector.
