Personal profile

Research interests

My teaching and research is broadly interdisciplinary and sits at the intersections of education, digital technologies, inclusion, outdoor learning and climate change.

In the School of Education, I primarily teach on the MSc Learning, Technology and Society and MSc Education and Climate Change programmes. My recent research projects have collaboratively designed and developed technologies to support and better understand aspects of education and learning, including social play and non-verbal communication. I am also currently involved in research looking at the use of 'craftivism' activities for discussing climate change in secondary school classrooms and the intersection of time and disability in the consideration and pursuit of just transitions.
