My teaching and research is broadly interdisciplinary and sits at the intersections of education, digital technologies, inclusion, outdoor learning and sustainability.

In the School of Education, I primarily teach on the MSc Learning, Technology and Society programme, focusing on critical examination of the design and use of technologies in different learning and educational contexts.

Research-wise, I am currently involved in a global research network called Times of a Just Transition (funded by the British Academy), in which I am examining the role of time and disability in the consideration and pursuit of just transitions. I have also been part of an interdisciplinary project aimed at supporting university students develop critical considerations to AI technologies - see this link for the research findings and activities that were developed.

Recent research projects have collaboratively designed and developed technologies to support and better understand aspects of education and learning, including neurodiverse social play and non-verbal communication and explored creative pedagogies to support climate change conversations in secondary schools.
