Personal profile

Research interests

My research area is Analytic Number Theory, specifically, moments of the Riemann zeta function. I am particularly interested in how the derivative of the zeta function behaves.

This area has a vast overlap with topics in Random Matrix Theory. It is believed that we can model the zeta function by the characteristic polynomial of random unitary matrices, and so studying the derivative of the characteristic polynomial should tell us information about the derivative of the zeta function.

I am broadly interested in Number Theory, the Pedagogy of Mathematics, and the History of Mathematics.
