Research interests
Andrew Friedman is the CEO of the Professional Associations Research Network (PARN); a research and development network which includes most of the larger professional bodies in the UK.
Andrew has published widely on issues concerning management, information systems management, professions, stakeholding, the labour process, activity-based accounting, stereotyping, and the environment.
He has published articles in the Journal of Management Studies, Business Strategy and the Environment, British Journal of Educational Technology, International Journal of Lifelong Education, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Human Relations, Professions and Professionalism and Sociology. He is widely cited in the journals with over 9790 separate citations of his work listed in Google Scholar citations.
He has published books with Macmillan, Routledge, Wiley and Oxford University Press, in addition to over 20 published by PARN (Professional Associations Research Network).
