Research interests

I am currently an AHRC-funded (SWWDTP) doctoral researcher co-supervised at the University of Bristol and University of Southampton. My thesis explores how individuals have shaped Holocaust remembrance and commemoration in different places within London.

More generally, I’m interested in the wider remembrance of the Holocaust. My article focusing on Kindertransport refugees discovering what happened to their parents has recently been published (open access) in Holocaust Studies.

I am a co-director of the SWWDTP Memory Studies Research Cluster, which brings together PhD students from across disciplines to investigate how (and why) events are remembered and memorialised.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Northampton and MA in Modern History from the University of Kent.
