Research interests
I provide statistical expertise or supervision to a number of major research studies, including:
- The ProtecT and CAP studies of prostate cancer detection and management
- The ASCENT evaluation of an adapted CBT for treating social anxiety in adults with autism.
- The IPAP-UTI study, using routinely collected data to identify regions with high resistance to antimicrobials used in the treatment of urinary tract infection, and to advise GPs in changing their prescribing to reduce that resistance.
My research into statistical methods is opportunistic, addressing questions that arise during my diverse mix of applied work.
