Research interests

Clare is a Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis based in the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Behavioural Science and Evaluation. She has background in epidemiology and public health with an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a PhD from University College London where she investigated the epidemiology of sequential pregnancies among women living with HIV in the UK and Ireland.

Clare has worked in evidence synthesis at the University of Bristol since 2014. She has conducted reviews on a broad range of topics, focused mainly on interventions for infectious diseases. She has a particular interest in vaccine-preventable diseases and the effectiveness of interventions to increase vaccine uptake, especially among underserved populations.
