I am a medical statistician and NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow exploring Missing Data in Paediatric RCTs; why does it happen and what can we do about it?

I will be exploring clinical trialists experiences of working with young people and their families in paediatric RCTs through qualitative interviews, and exploring methods to appropariately analyse completed paediatric RCTs where missing data is suspected to be Missing Not At Random. My supervisors are Professor Chris Metcalfe, Dr Rachael Hughes, Dr Jeremy Horwood and Professor Esther Crawley.

I have worked within the Bristol Randomised Trials Colloboration (BRTC) where I was involved in all aspects of trial design and analysis, from sample size calculations and statistical protocols for grant applications to full trial outcomes analysis including methods such as CACE and multiple imputation.

I co-organise and teach on the Advanced Stata short course and teach on the Introduction to Statistics, Linear and Logistic Regression and Missing Data short courses and the Public Health Msc and Epidemiology MSc.
