Personal profile

Research interests

I am a medical statistician and NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow exploring Missing Data in Paediatric RCTs; why does it happen and what can we do about it? I will be exploring patients and carers experiences of taking part in paediatric RCTs and analysing RCTs where missing data is suspected to be Missing Not At Random. My supervisors are Professor Chris Metcalfe, Dr Rachael Hughes, Dr Jeremy Horwood and Professor Esther Crawley.

I have worked within the Bristol Randomised Trials Colloboration (BRTC) where I was involved in all aspects of trial design and analysis, from sample size calculations and statistical protocols for grant applications to full trial outcomes analysis including methods such as CACE and multiple imputation.

I organise and teach on the Advanced Stata, Introduction to Statistics, and Linear and Logistic Regression short courses and the Public Health and Epidemiology MSc.
