Personal profile

Research interests

My academic work is composed of more than 50 publications between books, papers, chapters and working papers. I have published in many of the main journals in the areas of European, International and Migration Law, as well as Migration studies more generally. The core of my research is an interdisciplinary, practically significant and theoretically sophisticated inquiry into International, Human Rights, European and Comparative Migration and Citizenship law to offer a novel defence of a rights-based approach to migration regulation. My work discusses Migration law as a central aspect of globalisation and analyses various processes of inclusion and exclusion and their implications for the rule of law in Europe, Latin America and elsewhere.
