Duc Nguyen is a final year PhD student in Aerospace Engineering. His current research objective is to improve the understanding of flight dynamics by incorporating applied bifurcation theory into the analysis. As part of his PhD work, he's exploring the potential of the nonlinear frequency response analysis to characterise various nonlinear phenomena, most importantly aerodynamics nonlinearities and actuator saturation, with potential applications in the topics of handling qualities and pilot-induced oscillations.
