Her research examines the responsibility of large corporations and their accountability towards to the societies they operate in. This has led to the development of expertise in diversity and corporate culture and the ethical use of AI.

When researching financial institutions, Eleanore's work has focused on the importance of governance practices in reducing risk within systemically important financial market infrastructures in the UK and Europe. In her current work she is collaborating with regional financial organisations to better understand the barriers to innovation and accessibility of financial services to underserved communities.
