Personal profile

Research interests

Coming from an activist background in the social and solidarity economy, my education covers the areas of Management and Organization studies, Information Systems and Philosophy.

After seven years as a Digital Learning, Change Management and Communications manager and practitioner, I moved into the world of alternative organizations, co-founding an alternative currency network, an agro-collective and a worker cooperative.

My focus is interpersonal interactions and their transformative potential toward sustainable social change. My research focuses on the inter-relation between empathy and the formation of subjectivities within alternative and prefigurative organizations, such as worker cooperatives. My research aims to achieve a better understanding of the political role of empathy and intra-group encounters. I have experience in qualitative, creative, and co-produced methods, and ethnographic methodologies.

I am affiliated to the Peer2Peer Lab, an interdisciplinary research collective focused on the commons.
