My research interests concern the role of management control systems (budgeting, performance measurement and incentive systems) in shaping decision-makers' behaviour.

Specific research topics include:

• the design, implementation and use of management control systems;
• management control and decision-makers' time orientations;
• the social psychology of management control;
• the changing trajectory of management control systems in practice.
