Research interests
Erica Capecchi is an Art Historian specialised in Contemporary Art History and Art and Politics. She is currently a first-year SWW DTP2 funded PhD student in Modern Languages and History co-supervised between the University of Bristol and the University of Cardiff, UK.
Her current research interests focus primarily on the study of the aesthetics of politics and its impact on collective mentalities, with a particular reference to far-right and neo-fascist organisations and their presence on social media. Her doctoral project will analyse the aesthetics and representation of today’s neo-fascist and far-right groups on a transnational perspective between Italy and the UK.
