Research interests

My research investigates the changing stress and strain fields in different crustal environments in presence of a magmatic intrusion. Specially, the ground deformation footprint prior to an eruption at an example of Auckland Volcanic Field and the Tongariro Volcanic Complex.
Furthermore, this study investigates electrical self-potential (SP) anomalies resulting from shallow fluid flow driven by a dyke intrusion and their potential contribution to monitoring efforts.
