Research interests

Mr. Fengqiang Wang (pronounced /fəŋ'tʃiɒŋ, wɒŋ/) is a Ph.D. student at the School for Policy Studies. His doctoral study has been fully funded by China Scholarship Council and University of Bristol. Mr. Wang's research focuses on transitional families in contemporary mainland China with a specific topic on parent-adult children relationships between Chinese parents and their gay/lesbian adult children. This research is supervised by Dr. Paul Willis and Dr. William Turner.
