Personal profile

Research interests

I am a mixed methods researcher with a specialist interest in domestic abuse and sexual violence. I currently work on a multi-site trials (ADVANCE - NIHR funded trial of a perpetrator programme delivered in substance treatment settings) and contribute to other studies within the Domestic Violence and Abuse Health Research Group (specifically around trauma-informed interventions for the mental health impacts of abuse, evaluating responses to sexual violence and non-physical forms of abuse). I often work in partnership with domestic abuse and sexual violence agencies to deliver non-experimental evaluations, centred around co-production and participatory approaches. My research is grounded in experience of working frontline in the sexual violence sector and reflects commitment to survivor-led co-produced services.
