Research interests
George is focused on understanding the impacts of climate change on water resources across East African drylands, particularly the relationship between rainfall intensity and groundwater recharge. Research involves utilising convective permitting climate models (Met Office CP4 Africa) and a dryland-specific hydrological model (DRYP) capable of simulating focused recharge.
Research forms part of the wider DOWN2EARTH and DRIER projects.
