Personal profile

Research interests

As a Senior Research Associate in Electric Propulsion in the Electrical Energy Management Group (EEMG), I am focussed on experimental characterisation of engineering systems across a variety of applications.

  1. Testing electromagnetic power loss characteristics of components and electric machine subsystems for aerospace electric propulsion.
  2. Condition monitoring and characterisation of rolling element bearings, studying tribological phenomena in application-specific loading and environmental conditions.
  3. Performance characterisation of chain drives in high-fidelity loading conditions, mitigating sources of measurement uncertainty, characterising power loss performance and dynamic influences from mechanical and hydrodynamic sources.
